Overnight Lip Balm - Does Elizabeth Arden Cut It?

Chapped lips are something that plague me in the colder months. Not attractive, I know, but I'm sure a large proportion of you can relate to that in some way! They get sore, red and flakey and make it incredibly hard to look or feel attractive - it's hard to feel like Miranda Kerr when your lips are resembling Pete Burns'! Luckily for me, I've had the chance to try out Elizabeth Arden's Eight Hour Intensive Lip Repair Balm (£16.80)*, a bit of a mouthful, but it does exactly what it says on the tin!

The ingredients include Shea Butter, which works to keep your lips feeling soft and supple, while the Arnica Flower Oil creates a protective film over the lips to keep all the moisture locked in - perfectly moisturised lips are on their way to you, ladies!

The formula of this balm is like no lip balm I've ever tried before. It's a lot more buttery than I expected, which is definitely a good thing - you can tell it's super moisturising before you even put it on! I'll admit though, it's definitely one for those are planning on using this as an overnight lip balm, as it feels too heavy to wear comfortably during the day.

I will say, I am very impressed with this little number from Elizabeth Arden! I now wake up in the morning with perfectly moisturised lips that are ready for even the most matte lipstick in the world - it makes a huge difference to the other lip balms I was using that didn't really do much to repair them. Although the price tag may be a bit high for some, it can be used for a variety of other things, including dry elbows, knees... you can even use it to shape your eyebrows!

If you're looking for a perfect night-time lip balm to add to your regime, look no further - you can pick yours up right here!
