Would You Rather - Beauty Edition

Today's post is a little bit different - I've been seeing this tag floating around for a while on YouTube and loads of different blogs, so I thought I'd give it a go myself. If you don't already know (you probably do, but I'll still explain), a 'Would You Rather' is a game where you're given two options, and you have to choose between the two. The fun part is choosing between two things that you'd really rather not do! So, let's get started...

Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?

Oh this is hard. I think I'd rather lose all of my mascaras/eyeliners/lipsticks/lipglosses, as palettes are part of my daily make-up routine, and I don't think I could be without them anymore. Although being without mascara would be hard... I'd have to deal with it!

Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?

I'd say never cut it again, but imagine the split ends! I think I'd have to chop it all off because I'd just wear a wig until it grew back, and you could change your hair everyday depending on what mood you were in... savvy or what ;)

Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?

Definitely a coral cheek! Pink tends to wash my skin out, making me look really pale and ill, ha. Using coral makes me look a lot more alive, which (surprisingly) I prefer!

If you had £1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or make-up?

Definitely clothes. I know that's shocking! But I have a huge amount of make-up right now, so I think I'd rather spend it on some summer clothes, shoes, accessories and stuff... If summer ever arrives in England.

Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?

Ew, imagine putting lipstick on your eyes?! I can't think of anything worse, your eyelashes would all stick together haha. Eyeliner as lipstick, definitely. There are so many colours and you could apply, I don't think you'd be able to tell the difference really?

Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

We don't have a Sephora here in the UK, but I think I'd still pick Sephora! I love MAC, but there are so many more brands and products available from Sephora. I can't imagine anything better than having a Sephora in the UK, actually!

Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?

Definitely one eyeshadow colour. I usually use the same colours on my eyes whether I'm just going out shopping or going on a big night out, so I'd be lost without my lip colours! I love my ever-growing collection of lipsticks, I can't think of anything worse than being left without them.

Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?

In England, we barely ever get warm weather in the summer anyway, so I'd pick wearing winter clothes all year round. I love scarves and hats, and don't particularly like getting my legs out so I'd definitely choose winter clothes - plus I'm always cold so I need to wrap up warm whatever the weather!

Would you rather dark nails or bright nails all year round?

I'd have to choose dark - I think they look a lot classier and they suit me a lot better. I love berry reds and navy on my nails, so I'd have to choose dark nails. Also I think a classic black nail works with any outfit, you can't really go wrong with it!

Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eye product?

Definitely give up my favourite lip product. I love my palettes and mascaras too much to give them up! Plus my eyes always look super small and boring without any make-up, so I'd be lost without them.

Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a pony tail or a messy bun?

Definitely a messy bun. Pony tails make me look like I'm about twelve and my hair isn't long enough to make them look nice, so I'd pick a messy bun. Plus I think you can make a messy bun look quite classy if it's done in the right way!

Would you rather never being able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?

Easy for me - I never ever wear lipgloss (I have a huge hatred towards it), so I'd choose never to wear it again. It makes my lips feel sticky, and I don't think it looks particularly nice if I'm honest!

Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all, or sharpie them in everyday?

Sharpie them in everyday. I can't imagine having NO eyebrows, they frame your face and make you look a lot nicer when they're done in the right way. I'd have to learn how to use a sharpie to do them though - no Scouse Brows please!

Would you rather live without make-up or nail polish?

I'd rather live without nail polish 10000%! I wear make-up nearly everyday, and I can't imagine not being able to wear it. Nail polish isn't a huge part of my beauty regime, so I'd easily get rid of that instead of all my make-up!
