Scrub Scrub Scrub for Kissable Lips

LUSH Lip Scrub in Bubblegum - £5.25

Everyone and their mother's dog's best friend seem to have given their opinion on the LUSH Lip Scrub in the past few months, but being completely behind the times, I only bought this about a month ago. I bought it at the LUSH store in the Trafford Centre just after payday, as I thought I'd treat myself to a few goodies. There are a couple of different flavours, which include Mint Julips and Popcorn, but I chose the Bubblegum flavour. At the till, I saw this in a pile in a cute little basket and of course, being easily swayed as I am, I picked one up and my bank balance was £5.25 lighter when I left the shop thirty seconds later.

My main reason for buying the lip scrub is that my lips tend to become quite rough and chapped in the colder months, and with it being uber cold lately (maybe with one day of sun where everyone seems to get their legs out), I thought I could do with this to make my lips smoother, and make it easier to apply lipstick.

The guiltiness of this comes after the application - once you've rubbed it all over your lips to get rid of any roughness, the next step is getting rid of the bubblegum-flavoured crystals still left all over your lips. There is only one way to do this, of course - lick it off! It tastes incredible, and if I wasn't so sure I'd get addicted, I'd end up eating the whole pot.

It seems to have become a staple part of my daily make-up routine, even when I'm just applying lip balm, I use this first so that my lips are smooth and feel amazing. I can't recommend this enough, even though the price may seem a little high for such a small tub (£5.25 gets you 25g), it seems to be lasting such a long time, and barely looks like I've used any.
